Technical due diligence

Technical Due Diligence, Before You Sign

An independent, senior read on a company’s technology: what’s solid, what’s risky and what it will cost to fix, written so founders, investors and boards can act on it.

What we look at

Everything the pitch deck doesn’t show

Architecture and scale

Will it hold ten times the users, or does growth mean a rewrite?

Code and delivery

Quality, test coverage, technical debt and how fast the team actually ships.

Security and compliance

Access, secrets, data handling and the gaps a regulator or enterprise buyer would find first.

Infrastructure and cost

Cloud setup, reliability and whether the bill grows faster than revenue.

Team and process

Key-person risk, hiring gaps and whether the roadmap matches the people behind it.

AI claims

Is the AI real, defensible and affordable at scale, or a wrapper with a good demo?

Who it’s for

Technical due diligence for startups, investors and acquirers

Founders raising a round

Walk into the data room with answers ready, and fix the red flags before an investor finds them.

Investors and funds

A second opinion on the technology behind the deck, from engineers who build it every day.

Acquirers

Know the integration cost and the hidden debt before the price is set, not after.

FAQ

Questions about technical due diligence

What does a technical due diligence include?

Architecture, code, security, infrastructure, team and, where it matters, AI and data. You get a written report with findings ranked by risk, the cost to fix each one, and a plain-language summary for non-technical readers.

How long does it take?

Usually a few weeks, depending on the size of the codebase and how quickly we get access.

Do you need access to the source code?

Read-only access gives the most reliable answer. When that isn’t possible, we work from architecture walkthroughs, demos and interviews, and say clearly what we couldn’t verify.

Is it confidential?

Yes. We sign an NDA before any access and share findings only with the people you name.

Can you fix what you find?

If you want us to. The report stands on its own and is yours either way.
